PHOENIX

WITH WANG ZHENG-TING

SATURDAY 13 MAY 5PM (DINNER)

TARRINGTON (3300, VIC)

Join us in the foothills of Mount Pierrepoint for a very special performance with Chinese-Australian musician and composer Wang Zheng-Ting. Originally from Shanghai, Ting is a master of the traditional Chinese instrument, the Sheng. Thought to be the inspiration for the western piano accordion, this 'Chinese mouth organ' is a true musical phoenix.

Dining Room Tales invites you for an evening of storytelling, magical music, and delicious food from Shanghai to Sichuan.
A very personal look at three decades building a new life of music in Australia.

Stories, food and performance by Wang Zheng-Ting
Concept and direction: Xan Colman
